Welcome to Mitzi Loves Dottie, a small business that's run by me, Tori. I take preloved clothing and textiles, vintage and donated yardage, and recreate them into bonnets, giving them a whole new life. New bonnet collections are added to the website on the fourth Sunday of every month. Collection bonnets are ready to post and come with a 2-3 turnaround time. In addition to collection bonnets, I also offer made to order, custom, and surprise bonnets which you can learn more about here. A couple times a month, I release bonnets in a special collection. These are bonnets that I design for the fun of it and can only be accessed via my Instagram stories.
If you have an issue with the quality of the bonnet, email right away. Make sure to include your name, order number, the fault or issue with the bonnet, and photos to demonstrate the problem. Bonnets sent as returns must be sent within the original packaging and include any branding materials. Returns are accepted within 14 days from when you received the order.
You are responsible for ensuring your return makes it to me so I always encourage tracked postage. I am not responsible for lost or damaged returns. Your order will only be replaced/refunded if the order is in sellable condition.
Refunds will only be given in extreme situations and on a case-by-case bases.
Custom and surprise bonnets are ineligible for refunds and returns. For more information on custom and heirloom bonnets click here.
You may request a cancellation within 24 hours of ordering. Beyond this time, cancellations are not possible. Please provide your order number in your email subject line and explain your reason for cancelling. Provided your order has not already been processed, cancellations will always be granted.
All UK orders will be posted 48 hours tracked.
Once I have dispatched your order, you will receive an email containing your unique tracking number. If you have questions concerning your order, email with your name and order number. Please do not message via Instagram with important questions, they are not daily monitored.
Turnaround time for collection bonnets is 2-3 days unless otherwise stated. Made to Order, Custom and Surprise order bonnets have a four week turnaround. Please order accordingly.
Lost or Stolen Parcels
I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please ensure your mailing address is correct prior to placing. If your parcel is sent back due to an address error or post office error I am not responsible for getting your parcel back to you. I will notify you that it has come back and you're welcome to pay again to have it posted. If you are not willing to pay for it to be posted again I am happy to refund your order minus posting fees.
